Children with Special Needs (CSEN)

The province has Children with Special Needs (CSEN) both at primary and secondary school. These needs range from blindness, dumbness and other forms of disability. At primary school, the province has 4,244 pupils with special needs across the seven districts. At secondary school level, the province has 955 pupils with special needs spread across all the secondary schools in the province.

In order not to disadvantage these pupils, they schools arrange special classes for them and they are taught by teachers specially trained to handle the various needs of these pupils.
