SOLWEZI, Zambia, March 2, 2026 – A team of Directors and Senior Management from the Smart Zambia Institute, IHM Southern Africa, Ministry of Health, and State House is currently conducting a hands-on tour of health facilities across the North-Western and Copperbelt provinces.
The objective is to assess the sustainability, performance, and real-world impact of the SmartCare Pro system a vital electronic health registry enhancing service delivery through digital innovation. The team comprises health ICT personnel, as well as representatives from human resources, clinical care, ICT infrastructure management,systems development, standards and compliance and cybersecurity.
Through this on-the-ground engagement, the team is gathering insights, interacting with end-users, and evaluating how the system is transforming healthcare operations in the region.
