LUSAKA, March, 1st 2026 – SMART Zambia National Coordinator, Mr PERCY CHINYAMA, has expressed concern over child online safety, outlining the government’s strategy to protect minors in digital spaces.
Mr CHINYAMA spoke during a ZANIS interview ahead of the International Children’s Day of Broadcasting, which is being commemorated today.
The interview comes as Zambia joins global observances focused on this year’s theme of safeguarding children in the media and beyond.
The National Coordinator detailed specific initiatives the agency is implementing to address growing concerns about minors’ exposure to online risks.
