Republican Vice President Mutale Nalumango says the holding of the Muchinga Investment Forum and Exposition will bring massive development to the region.
Mrs. Nalumango said Investment Forum will attract massive infrastructure Investment in the region that will create jobs for the local people.
She said the Muchinga Provincial administration saw it prudent to hold the forum as one way of showcasing the various Investment potentials that the province is endowed with.
The Vice President who was speaking during the official launch of the Website for the Investment Expo at the New Mulungushi International Conference Centre in Lusaka, charged that the new dawn Government is in a hurry to bring about development to all parts of the country including Muchinga through such forums.
She stated that Government is optimistic that the province successfully hosts the Expo with a view of advertising the region to potential investors.
“As the new Dawn Government, we want to ensure that Muchinga province benefits positively from this Forum just like the other provinces that have already hosted there’s,” she added.
She further commended Muchinga Provincial administration coupled with Smart Zambia Institute for establishing a Website in readiness for the 2023 Muchinga Forum.
And Muchinga Province minister Henry Sikazwe called on investors to establish manufacturing industries in the province in order to create jobs for the local people.
Mr. Sikazwe charged that the Province has huge potential of supporting the establishment of industries due to the vast land that is characterized with, adding massive development would be realised through such ventures.
He further stated that successful hosting of the Investment Forum will uplift the living standards of people through a variety of opportunities that will be provided during the forum.
“We want our province to be an investment hub for both local and foreign investors,” he stated.
Meanwhile, SMART Zambia Systems Development Director Luke Mate reaffirmed the institution’s commitment towards providing easier internet services in order to see the success of the Expo.
Mr. Mate said SMART Zambia has managed to create a Website for the launch to enable potential local and foreign investors have access to the website anywhere in the world before the official hosting of the Expo.

Mr. Mate further assured the Muchinga Provincial administration for effective internet connectivity before and during the Expo period.
The Muchinga Investment Tourism Forum and Exposition is slated to be held in the third quarter of 2023.
